Monster Hunter games only allows players to give Rarity 1 items to each other. Besides basic consumable like Potions, other items are at Rarity 2 and above, making them unable to be given to other players.
Making all items into Rarity 1 will let cheat users to give items to each other. In my case, I'm already much higher level than my friends so I can give them unused items for crafting gears and turn down our farming time.

So far I've only saw similar cheat for MH Freedom Unite (EUR version only) and Portable 3rd for the PSP. No one has made cheat like this for other MH games
